A temporary email address for sign-ups
Many websites ask for your email before you can download a file, read an article or try a product. A temporary address gets you the confirmation mail without putting your real inbox on yet another mailing list.
How it works
Create an address with one click and paste it into the sign-up form. The confirmation mail or code shows up in your temporary inbox within seconds, usually without refreshing. Click the link, copy the code, and you are in.
When it makes sense
Use it for one-off downloads, free trials, Wi-Fi portals, forums you want to read once, price alerts and newsletters you only want to try. For accounts you want to keep, such as your bank, webshop orders or anything you may need to recover later, use your own address.
Why the address expires
The address works for 24 hours, and you can extend it up to 7 days in total. After that the address and its mail are deleted, and new mail bounces. Whoever got the address can no longer reach you, so there is no spam to unsubscribe from.
Private by design
You do not need an account. Only you have the inbox key, the address can only receive mail, and attachments are not stored. Remote images in mail are blocked until you choose to show them, so senders cannot track when you open a message.
